And it appears nothing screams 'relaxation' for the 27-year-old like a holiday hitting the slopes and going snowboarding with her nearest and dearest.
In several pictures shared to Instagram, Robbie can be seen enjoying a recent skiing holiday with her best friends after enjoying Christmas with her family on the Gold Coast.
Margot's friend Lottie Faulkner posted a snap of the Suicide Squad star on the slopes, captioning the snap, 'Silly good day!', and several others of the friendship group taking it easy on the mountains.
Having spent the festive season with her family in Australia, including her mother, three siblings and British director husband Tom Ackerley, it comes as no surprise the Aussie star often feels homesick.
She recently told The Courier-Mail: 'Obviously (I miss) big things like my family and my friends, being there to see my nephew grow up, weddings, funerals, all those big important moments where everyone comes together.'
Margot's brother Lachlan shared several pictures from Christmas Day with the family on Instagram, featuring his famous sister wearing a festive hat and posting another in which her face is covered by an emoji.
He captioned the snap with the adorable heartfelt message: 'Family isn't always about the last name or blood but the loyalty, the love and the ability to show up and be accounted for when called upon.
'They will have your back even when you feel like you've fallen flat on it, they will be a light when life feels like it's at its darkest. Together for each other we motivate and inspire to get the best from ourselves.
'Material possessions can be given and taken away but what we all have cannot and that is a true gift I'm lucky enough to share with them on Christmas.'
Robbie's time Down Under marks the first time since her wedding to Ackerley last year, where the pair said 'I do' in Byron Bay, New South Wales.
