DRINK: Hopt
The weather has finally got its act together. Which, for Londoners, inspires two responses: 1. 'Quick! To the park!' and 2. 'Quick! Get some fizz to take to the park!' Well, the good news is that east Londoners can now skip step two entirely, because new craft drinks shop Hopt will DELIVER IT TO YOU. Based in Shoreditch's Box Park, Hopt deal only in the coolest craft beer, specialist spirits and boutique wines, with a selection that changes fortnightly and mixes classic brands with local talent. And, crucially, their speedy delivery service will drop off said bottles of wonder to anywhere within a one-mile radius. Dial-a-prosecco? Oh, to be alive in days such as these.

FOOD: Casita Andina
Peru has given London many great things. Pisco sours. Paddington Bear. And in a far more important, non-fictional sense, Martin Morales. The superstar chef kick-started the city's Peruvian food craze with the wildly popular Ceviche chain, then followed it up with his critically feted Andina. And now, here comes the hat-trick: Casita Andina. At this bold, bright new Soho joint you're in for top-notch ceviche (obvs) plus home-style Andean cuisine such as avocado fritters, annatto-marinated lamb sirloin or skate wings with rocoto chilli. As you'd expect, there are also plenty of pisco sours. And as you'd also expect, Paddington is nowhere to be seen…

FASHION: Hackney Walk x The Stitch Academy
Sound the bell: school's in. But believe us, this class you WANT to attend. Because at this class, the teacher is none other than Mr Henry Holland… Yes, this weekend at luxe shopping outlet Hackney Walk, the king of kooky prints and all things neon will be leading a free fashion masterclass, talking us through his evolution from kooky slogan tees to tick-all-boxes-fashion house. What's more, afterwards there's a Q&A where you can ask him everything and anything about running a fashion brand… Or perhaps how he gets his hair so gravity-defyingly high. Other amazing Stitch Academy tutorials include shoe design with Sophia Webster and jewellery making with Holly Fulton. Study up, people.

POP-UP: Jimmy's Surf & Turf
Are there any finer two words in the English language than 'surf' and 'turf'? We'd argue not, especially when they're being served by guerrilla gourmet Jimmy Garcia. The pop-up supremo is back with his latest transitory feast, bringing us a five-course, beach-themed feast for 10 days only. Starter plates include crispy cod with confit garlic mayonnaise and the intriguingly titled 'Mac in a can'. But the main event is, of course, the surf (1/2 lobster tail) and the turf (côte de boeuf), served on a huge share board with seaweed and parmentiere potatoes. And just when you think things couldn't get any better, we have two more mighty fine words for you: 'cocktail'. And: 'buckets'.
6-7 Aug; then various dates until 27 Aug

FESTIVAL: Wilderness
Sure, Wilderness has its middle-class niceties. But while it's true that you can eat at Moro before heading to the Laurent-Perrier Orangery, there's so much more to it than that. Just an hour and a half away from London, the rolling site (complete with swimmable lake) has a magical vibe all of its own, and hosts a huge array of performance art, talks and plays as well as sets from Robert Plant, Andrew Weatherall and The Flaming Lips. Besides, who doesn't like Laurent-Perrier…?
Tickets still available, folks.

POP-UP: Hox de Janeiro
At last, the Rio 2016 Olympics are upon us! A full two weeks of sporting prowess, high drama, finding ourselves obsessed by unlikely sports such as handball, fencing or Greco-Roman wrestling… And, of course, looking at the amazing backdrop of Rio and wishing we too were at the copa. Well, we can be! Our very own slice of South America can be found right here in, er, Shoreditch – at The Hoxton's new Brazilian-themed pop-up. As well as Latino food and drinks (did someone say cachaça?), there'll be Gymbox classes, samba dancing and even Brazilian waxing (really). Oh, and, of course, a garden screen showing all the action. Because you can't be missing the Greco-Roman wrestling now, can you?

ART: William Eggleston – Portraits
What's in a picture? Well, when it's taken by pioneering US photographer William Eggleston, plenty. Known for his vivid, mysterious tableaus of 1960s and 70s American life, he captures ordinary people doing ordinary things – made extraordinary by saturated colour, romantic lighting and dreamlike, just-out-of-reach focus. The boy stacking supermarket trolleys, the girl sprawled out on the grass – suddenly, you want to know their stories. Add to these a previously unseen image of Clash frontman Joe Strummer and a never-before-exhibited portrait of Dennis Hopper, and this becomes essential viewing.
