Just what IS the future of fashion? Huh, huh? We're big enough to admit that we don't know. But we bet it's going to be bloody fabulous. Which is why we're heading to The House of St Barnabas this weekend, to find out all about it via the medium of talks and discussions, craft sessions, and a showcase of innovative and ethical designers including Sole Ferragamo, Eliss Solomon and Katie Jones. It's all run in partnership with designer Orsola de Castro, whose big idea is to spark debate about the challenges facing the fashion industry, and find out how we can make a positive change. We're. On. Board.

This Fat Tuesday bash may be taking place on a Friday, but believe us, it is still FAT. As in huge, massive, super-sized. In fact, it is London's 'biggest, baddest Mardi Gras party' TM. Which means you can expect lights, colours, dancing, hedonism and a helluva lot of trumpets, as local jazz heroes Kansas Smitty's lead a glittering parade of dancers, theatre performers and (we quote) 'curiosities' along the South Bank. It all winds up at The Vaults in Waterloo for a long night of drinking, dancing and down'n'dirty revelry – which is the best kind of revelry, you'll agree.
