Drinks and dragons, fashion and festivals, pizzas and portraits: your weekend, sortedMore
We're loving London club comebacks at the moment. First Fabric reopened its doors, then Southport Weekender and Bagleys threw one-off events, and now here's the triumphant return of Studio 338. Rebuilt and raring to go after a being destroyed by fire last year, this weekend kicks off its new outdoor area with a HUGE garden party. We're talking giant trees, festoon lighting, hot air balloons, hammocks, swings, dancers, bongos and sax players… And, of course, a world-class DJ line-up headed by The Mistaa and Taylor b2b. In short, our kind of garden party. Good to have you back, 338.
24 June, £20
The Garden at 338, Car Park Area, 338 Boord Street, SE10
What could be better than a joint exhibition by royal artist Christian Furr and legendary rock photographer Gered Mankowitz, putting a painterly spin on never-before-seen shots of the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Kate Bush and the Rolling Stones? One where you can drink special themed cocktails too, of course. Head to 45RPM at Mayfair's 45 Park Lane hotel to see (and sip) for yourself.
Until 5 Aug; free
45 Park Lane, W1K 1PN
Important news, south Londoners! Important enough that, though not strictly something for the weekend, we felt you needed a couple of days' warning. You know, to get prepared. Because from Monday, hit Hoxton pizzeria Radio Alice is bringing its sourdoughy deliciousness south of the river, opening its second venue on Clapham's Venn Street. And more important news still: until 30 July, when you buy a pizza, you can get a second for £1. That's right: ONE POUND – with proceeds going to support Libera Terra, the co-operative who produce organic wine in Sicily on land liberated from Mafia control. Here's where the preparation part comes in: to get involved with the offer, head to radioalicepizzeria.co.uk/£1pizza. No excuses, now. We've given you all weekend to do it.
Opens 26 June
Radio Alice, 67 Venn St, Clapham, SW4 0BD
