SHOPPING: H! by Henry Holland at Boxpark
Henry Holland isn't a designer who thinks inside the box. Well, until now – because this weekend, he's running his own cuboid pop-up shop at Shoreditch's Boxpark (d'you see what we did there?). It's all to show off the geek-chic-inspired pieces of his new H! collection for Debenhams, which launches this month. Expect checks, gingham, slogan denim and animal print – plus Urban Decay hero palettes and a selfie photo booth. And, if you're very lucky, to be served by the shopkeeper himself. Would you mind running and fetching one in our size, please Mr Holland?

THEATRE: Dinner at the Twits
Chances are, when you read Roald Dahl's The Twits as a kid, you didn't think: 'Hmm, I'd LOVE to go to dinner at their house.' Well now, improbably, it's the hottest ticket in town. Immersive theatre company Les Enfants Terribles and ebp (the folks behind Alice's Adventures Underground) have transformed Waterloo's The Vaults into a windowless house with a ghastly garden, where you'll be treated to all manner of gruesome grub. Baroque bird pie, prickly cocktails and 'perilous' pudding (yikes) – all in the company of the Roly-Poly Bird, the Muggle-Wumps and, of course, Mr and Mrs Twit. See you in the Upside Down Cocktail Cavern.

POP-UP: Edible Art
It's not unusual to hear food described as a work of art (well, unless you come to dinner at our house), but at this pop-up supper club, they mean it quite literally. Because here you'll be able to daub your three courses with edible paint to create your own tasty masterpieces. FUN. It's all put on by hip pop-up queen Christabel Beeson, which means: 1. Your 'canvas' will be downright delicious and 2. Your mum was wrong – it IS the done thing to play with your food.

FESTIVAL: Moondance
STILL not quite ready to say goodbye to festival season? Good attitude, friend. And the fine folk behind the Found Series are of the same mindset, throwing one last outdoor shindig to send summer off with a bang. What a loud bang it is, too – Moondance sees Queen Elizabeth Park taken over by eight arenas showcasing the best in old skool, DnB, house, jungle and grime. The line-up is bursting with dance music pioneers spanning a huge breadth of beats – Freestylers, Todd Terry, Ed Rush, Fabio & Grooverider and Artful Dodger are all involved. Meaning but one thing: big shapes shall be thrown.

A car boot sale. For wine. Sounds like a splendid idea, you'll agree. And that's before we even get to the detail: these car boots belong to London's best independent wine sellers (such as Berry Bros & Rudd, Borough Wines and Vinoteca), who each fill them with five of their favourite wines to taste, buy or take home. FOOD: Voodoo Ray's Camden
Camden's foodie resurgence continues with a new opening that's big – in more ways than one. You see, not only is this the third branch of the uber-hip pizza joint that made buying by the slice the done thing among the artfully dishevelled folk of Dalston and Shoreditch, but it marks the first time its signature supersized 'pies' have left east London. Which means that the brave foodies of the north can now also tuck into 22 inches of wood-fired doughy goodness, with toppings such as fennel and chilli sausage or goat's cheese, sun-blushed tomato and courgette. That's right, we said 22 inches. Consider your challenge set.
