Hold the front page Ashton and Mila in wedding shock!
OK, were kidding. This dapper twosome were actually pictured at the weekend attending the nuptials of Mila's brother Michael, with the actress serving as bridesmaid.
There's no denying, though, the prom-style strapless dress in a pale Champagne hue has more than a little of the bridal about it - ditto her lush bouquet and gold strappy heels.
Ever since Pippa Middleton sashayed down the aisle in Alexander McQueen column gown, we've noticed a growing trend for brides to dress their maids in similar shades to their own.
Indeed, The Knot singles out 'new neutrals' as a key trend for bridesmaids in 2014, noting that 'this earthy colour might just be the hottest new hue for spring, plus, its flattering on many different complexions'.
Mila certainly looks the part and Ashton, in black tie, does too. We wouldn't be surprised if we saw them in something similar at a wedding of their own in the near future...
