The incredible, haute couture gown was created especially for her by Riccardo Tisci, and the actress was said to be closely involved in its design.
Reminiscent of Anne Hathaways ultra-romantic Valentino gown and Kate Moss fay-like John Galliano number, the soft-silhouette dress, which fell into a gentle train at the back, was a perfectly-pitched offering of bias cut silk, light-as-air tulle, and intricate, Chantilly lace.
A demure, high necked bodice was hand-embroidered with tiny pearls, while peekaboo shoulders imbued traditional, lace sleeves with a modern touch. Ricci accessorised her look with a mid-length, lace veil and opted for a simple, clean up-do.
Ricci wed her Pan Am co-star in front of a small audience of close family and friends in New York.
