Christina Ricci has tweeted the first picture of her stunning wedding dress, after marrying fellow actor, James Heerdegen at the weekend.

The incredible, haute couture gown was created especially for her by Riccardo Tisci, and the actress was said to be closely involved in its design.

Reminiscent of Anne Hathaway’s ultra-romantic Valentino gown and Kate Moss’ fay-like John Galliano number, the soft-silhouette dress, which fell into a gentle train at the back, was a perfectly-pitched offering of bias cut silk, light-as-air tulle, and intricate, Chantilly lace.

A demure, high necked bodice was hand-embroidered with tiny pearls, while peekaboo shoulders imbued traditional, lace sleeves with a modern touch. Ricci accessorised her look with a mid-length, lace veil and opted for a simple, clean up-do.

Ricci wed her Pan Am co-star in front of a small audience of close family and friends in New York.
