Joaquin Phoenix has admitted his 'engagement' was all an attention-grabbing stunt. We are currently standing at a chalk board writing 'if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is' over and over again à la Bart Simpson. Lesson learned, but we still think the video is worth a watch.

In a turn of events that we're pretty sure even Richard Curtis couldn't write, Joaquin Phoenix announced he started dating his yoga instructor after she roped into a pose call 'the harnessing of the hog' and now they're engaged.
Don't just take our word for it. We highly recommend that you watch Joaquin re-enact the whole thing in its actorly glory for a very amused David Letterman.
