Well, who could blame her?

On 13 July 2015, we wrote: When it was announced that US socialite Nicky Hilton was to marry English heir James Rothschild at Kensington Palace, we suspected it wouldn't just be the venue that played up to the idea of a royal wedding - and we weren't wrong.

For the big day, which took place this Saturday, 11 July, the bride wore a Valentino Couture dress - reportedly worth around £50,000 - that was more than a nod to the bespoke Alexander McQueen dress that Kate Middleton wore to marry Prince William in 2011.

With its demure neckline, long lace sleeves and full skirt, Nicky was the traditional bride to a T.

She completed her ensemble with a chapel-length embroidered veil and a bouquet of cream roses.

Seriously - how's that for a silhouette?

Sister Paris, meanwhile, was a pretty bridesmaid in blue.

She also stepped up to the plate as unofficial photographer, releasing a sneak peek of the day's morning preparations on Instagram.

Congrats to the happy couple!
