I have a new obsession: shopping for wedding dresses online.

If you haven't tried this, I think you'd be surprised at how satisfying it is.

Of course, if you want something traditional or bespoke, it won't be for you. But if, like me, you want to buy something off the rack by one of your favourite designers - easy, no fuss - then then I highly recommend giving this a go.

Start with the sites you're familiar with. Net-a-Porter and The Outnet, for example, have a 'bridal' section in the category for dresses.

Otherwise, opt for 'dresses' and drill down from there. Most have options for 'gown', 'full-length' or 'black tie'. If all else fails, you can always filter by colour.

Yes: I bought my wedding dress this way. (NB This is not it.) But that doesn't mean I've stopped browsing. It's just too easy/tempting.

Here are ten brilliant options I have stumbled across recently that I just had to share...
