Thankfully life is not imitating art for one of the young stars of HBO's . While her on screen persona, Marnie, struggles with a broken heart, Allison Williams is celebrating her engagement to her boyfriend Ricky Van Veen. Van Veen is the cofounder of College Humour and the couple met while Williams was filming the pilot to Girls. When asked what her NBC news anchor father thought of her groom-to-be in a recent interview with Larry King, the Girls star reportedly replied 'he likes him a lot'. It seems Williams' real life is set to run far more smoothly that Marnie's let's hope so!
