Georgie married Andy on 1 March 2014 in Shoreditch. They met six years earlier when Andy applied for a room in Georgie's house-share via Gumtree, and he proposed five years later, during a trip Florence, with a beautiful vintage ring made in 1915. They opted for an East London, winter wedding - with a Fleetwood Mac tribute band and a boho theme with a gothic vibe.

It felt like the dress - from Luella’s Boudoir - picked me. It suited my pear-shaped figure and it fitted in perfectly with the theme.
My nails were by WAH NAILS - I had the design in mind, but they were awesome at bringing it to life.
The gold bracelet is by Peter Lang.
For the bridesmaids dresses, I opted for boho, lace dresses in taupe from Freepeople, with matching tassel shoes from Fury, and dried flower crowns.
I also insisted they all wore their leather jackets!
For our wedding rings, after much searching I found the amazing Ruth Tomlinson who does beautiful bands with a bit of edge.
From the beginning we loved the idea of having a traditional, church ceremony and were blown away when we first walked inside Shoreditch Church. It’s stunning but very old and steeped in history.
These balloons were actually left over from a play that the church had hosted the week before. They’d asked if we wanted it taken down, but we told them to leave it as we thought it was quite cool.
My flowers, by the amazing Daisy in a Haystack, totally made the venue, adding a magical enchanted forest feel. We had loads of foliage wrapped round the bannisters, giant urns with dried whole flowers and corn spilling over and a staircase covered in flowers and foliage too.
Our reception was held at The Tab in Shoreditch. It’s white walls, stage and balcony made it the perfect blank canvas for us to decorate.
For the décor, I spent months on Pinterest and carefully selecting suppliers, so that the styling would fit into our theme.
We used loads of wild dried flowers, giant dreamcatchers and mismatching church candles all around the stage (over 500!).
