Katie married Tim on 5 September 2013 at a small legal ceremony at Hackney Townhall, followed by an outdoor humanist ceremony near Bridport in Dorset a couple of days later. They first met in 2011, and were engaged nine months later. In Katie's words: 'When you know, you know.' For the bigger outdoor ceremony, having a wedding outside was important to the couple, and for the décor, the bride played around with ideas involving fabric and nature. A highlight of the day was when friends serenaded the couple with an acoustic version of Wonderwall as the wedding began to wind down.

Annie's Vintage in Islington is just over the road from my favourite knitting shop and I actually went in there by chance with an old friend from university.
I was really worried about dress shopping and normally hate shopping with other people, but when I found the dress, it seemed like a real 'meant to be' moment.
The dress made me feel calm, elegant and comfortable and even though I bought it really early on, I would just keep getting it out of the cupboard to look at it.
