Georgie married Jon on 30 August 2014 at Fulham Palace. The pair originally met in secondary school, but it was only when they met again six years ago through mutual school friends that they began dating. Jon proposed to Georgie at Stoke Park in July 2013, and they opted to wed in the August of the following year to avoid rowing season (Jon is an avid rower). They chose Fulham Palace as it is a 15 minute walk from their flat which added a personal feel, and they opted for a traditional English and vintage décor with a yellow and grey colour scheme.

My wedding dress was from this great place, Blackburn Bridal in Blackheath. I wanted something flattering with a vintage edge, and they had some amazing dresses by a designer called Clinton Lotter.
I picked my dress from one of his collections, and I was lucky enough to have Clinton fit the dress for me.
We added some soft capped sleeves for a bit more coverage and he did a great job of not making the split in the leg too indecent.
Jay Archer did our flowers and they were absolutely gorgeous. She really nailed the English vintage theme. I can’t tell you how amazing my bouquet smelt.
I went with some white lace Louboutin’s.
I was initially worried that the lace would be too much for an already very lacy dress, but they matched perfectly and were insanely comfortable.
Jon wanted a suit that would look classic, yet modern, and he wanted one that he could wear after the wedding.
He opted for a three-piece suit from Armani, which was perfect. Also, the shade of grey was ideal for our yellow and grey colour scheme.
I had two bridesmaids: my sister-in-law Zoe, and my best friend Leah, who made my wedding cake.
Their dresses were from Two Birds and we all had our hair and make-up done by Mel Kinsman and Amanda White.
I made all the little tags and the table plan. We shot the table plan photos around London, in a day. They feature us posing at various London landmarks, and these landmarks are what the tables are named after.
Each favour tag was handmade with a little thank-you note to each guest on the back.
My best friend Leah, of Heaven's Bakery, made our cake and her handmade decorations were incredible.
It was an alcohol-soaked fruit cake, which went down incredibly well with our guests.
We both had signature cocktails for the guests:
Jon's was a margherita called the 'Dinghy Racer' as they raced dinghies on the river in York for Jon's stag do. It's also Jon's favourite cocktail.
My cocktail was called the 'Vegas Punch', which was an espresso martini. We drank a load of these on my hen in Vegas!
Our first dance was Young & Beautiful by Lana Del Ray.
We had an amazing band, The Indie Killers, who really got in amongst it all.
We ended the evening in the hotel bar of The Chelsea Harbour Hotel with our best mates until 3am. It was a perfect day.
