Last week, rumours hit the headlines that we might soon hear the ringing of wedding bells for Prince Harry and his girlfriend, actress Meghan Markle, as a friend close to the pair let slip the royal was planning to get down on one knee this summer.

However, for now at least, the 32-year-old is leaving it to his schoolfriend, Tom 'Skippy' Inskip and Lara Hughes-Young to test the waters when it comes to married life, as he and Meghan joined the congregation at the pair's nuptials in Jamaica over the weekend.

On Friday, the couple flew to the Caribbean ahead of the ceremony at the Hopewell Baptist Church in Montego Bay, according to the Telegraph, with Harry arriving on Wednesday from London while Markle flew in from Toronto, Canada where she is currently based shooting her television series, Suits.

In candid shots of the pair, the 35-year-old is spotted wearing a floor-length printed Erdem dress, paired with a nude clutch bag and her signature black sunglasses.

Meanwhile, the Prince wore a navy suit with a yellow corsage, which matched his girlfriend's dress, as he stood in as an usher for his Eton friend's wedding, which reportedly included a 220-strong congregation including the likes of Olympic athlete Usain Bolt and Harry's aunt, Sarah Ferguson.

According to the pastor at the wedding, he told the Daily Mail he turned to Harry following the ceremony to tell him, 'It's your turn next, Sir.'

The publication also reported that during the reception, the famous prince attempted to show off his impressive dance skills to his new girlfriend by practicing the 'Moonwalk', made famous by the late Michael Jackson.

Unfortunately for Harry, the move ended in disaster when he accidentally collided with a waitress carrying a tray of drinks and sent Meghan and their friends into a fit of laughter, while he apologised profusely to his dance victim.

The wedding's setting might be familiar to the 35-year-old Californian actress, who reportedly married her first husband, film producer Trevor Engleson, at a report 60 miles along the Jamaican coast from The Round Hill Resort where she and Harry were staying.

According to the Telegraph, the couple will be extending their Jamaican getaway until Wednesday, when the Prince is scheduled to depart.

It might have been fleeting but it certainly sounded like a romance-filled holiday for Meghan and Harry.

Might it have inspired them to walk down the aisle themselves one day soon?
