EXCLUSIVE: New Beauty Brand!

By Amy Lawrenson | Posted: Tue 23 Sep 2008

This autumn, there’s a new British cosmetics brand arriving at Selfridges that you need to know about now.

Selling one of the most extensive colour ranges we have ever seen - over 40 lipstick shades, £12.50 and 140 eyeshadow shades, from £12 (with plans to expand even further after the launch), Illamasqua prides itself on being the first cosmetics line to focus on ‘night-time make-up’. (Read: high impact colours and finishes for dramatic going out looks.)

Alongside the colour cosmetics there are all the products you would expect from a comprehensive make-up collection including primers, £15, foundation, £20, powder, £17.50, and mascara, £14, but our favourites have to be the cream eyeshadows, £14. From bold primary colours to shimmering metallics, they are definitely the product to stock up on come November.

What’s also great about the new brand is that if their high impact look doesn’t quite sound like your make-up bag, you can book a consultation, £15 (redeemable against purchases) at Selfridges to discover just what they do. These take 45min and you will be able to discuss everything from your likes and dislikes to what influences your style and where you hang out, so that the consultant can find the perfect products for your look.

Illamasqua launches in Selfridges, London on 1 November. Click here to visit the Illamasqua website.
