Kate Moss to launch new vintage scent

Kate Moss' next perfume is set to echo her vintage style credentials.
WWD.com confirms this morning that Kate Moss’ next scent, Vintage by Kate Moss, launching in September, will be a vintage inspired 'floriental scent’. Which means, not only is she creating a scent that opitimses her style ethos, she's also tapped in to perfume's next big trend.
Smokey, oriental scents have been on the rise for sometime, with notes such as tobacco and patchouli being blended into many new fragrances this year.
Alice Waghorn, of bespoke London perfumer Miller Harris explains, ‘We’ve noticed more unusual, woody scents becoming very popular recently, and more women are buying Feuilles De Tabac, the number one best-seller among our male clientele. They appeal to customers who like to stand out from the crowd with a raw, strident scent.’
Alongside Kate in the Coty perfume stable, Kylie Minogue is also set to launch her first men’s scent in August, but we think this won’t just be reserved for your boyfriend. Kylie Inverse will be another oriental inspired fragrance with vintage woody notes - the perfect scent for autumn.
