Lady Gaga set to launch a fragrance

Back in July rumours were rife that Lady Gaga was to sign a fragrance deal with Coty. Now, WWD.com has revealed that the extrovert singer has signed a long-term deal with Coty Inc to create scents under her own name. Well, as they say, there's no smoke without fire.

Stephan Mormoris, Senior Vice President of Global Marketing in the Coty Beauty Division, told WWD.com that the agreement was being hammered out last week and the first Lady Gaga women's scent is likely to launch in spring 2012. Coty already has an enviable list of celebrity signings including Beyonce, David and Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, Kylie and Sarah Jessica Parker.

But, all we want to know is what the fragrances will smell like? We're expecting the scent to be inspired by her style - extravagant, with notes of tea (well she is somewhat obsessed with the beverage). We'd also put money on the bottle being adorned with leather and lace; let's just hope she isn't inspired in any way by the meat 'dress' she wore to last night's VMAs.
