Liz Earle to launch first scent, plus all the latest news from the fragrance world

Fans of Liz Earle's skincare range can now add the line's first scent to their beauty wish list.
Liz Earle Naturally Active will launch its first perfume, Botanical Essence Eau de Parfum No. 1 this year. With top notes including bergamot and mandarin, middle notes of rose absolute and lavender and base notes of cedar wood and tonka bean absolute, it promises to be a fresh clean scent - in other words, the embodiment of the organic skincare brand's DNA.
'One of the most common requests from our customers was for a fragrance' Earle (pictured) told WWD today. So your wish has been her command. The new fragrance hits stores on October 12th.
Another new scent that we can't wait to get our hands on this autumn is the new perfume from Issey Miyake. It's been 17-years since his L’Eau d’Issey collection of perfumes debuted and it's still a best seller, so 'A scent' by Issey Miyake will have a lot to live up to when it arrives in Harrods, in London on August 16th.
And finally, Eau Mega, the second scent by Viktor & Rolf, will launch in October. Insired by its name, the scent and the ad campiagn that features it are all about mega proportions. Cue Raquel Zimmermann towering over the New York sky-line wafting swathes of gold fabric - the colour of the new perfume's bottle. 'We wanted to express this feeling of ‘megafying' yourself, explained the Dutch design duo.
