Christian Louboutin and Giuseppe Zanotti say no to diffusion lines

The hotly anticipated Jimmy Choo for H&M collection arrives in store in just a few weeks, and speculation is mounting about which other luxe accessories designers might sign up next to collaborate with the high street brand. Now we can cross two of the biggest names off our wishlist.
News has emerged that Christian Louboutin has already been approached to design for the brand but, sadly for us, turned the offer down. He said, 'I declined . . . it's a lot of work really, so it's just difficult for me to do it.' The legendary shoesmith also firmly denied any future plans to branch out into clothing.
And today Giuseppe Zanotti has announced in an interview that he wouldn't sign up for a collaboration either believing that while it makes sense for celebrities to team up with high street brands, '..but I'm a shoemaker, and if I did it for a cheaper price for incredible worldwide distribution, it doesn't make sense.'
Jimmy Choo for H&M hits stores 14 November, followed by Sonia Rykiel for H&M in December.
