DKNY's Chari-Tee T-shirt gives back
By Laurelle Gilbert | Posted: Thu 06 Aug 2009
To mark the 20th birthday of DKNY Donna Karan wanted to give something back to New York City - her inspiration for the last 20 years.
So, DKNY has designed this T-shirt which will be sold in aid of childrens charity Operation Smile.
The charity, set up in 1982, helps children born with cleft-palates have the operations they might otherwise not be able to afford, to correct the condition. Last year the charity gave 11,000 children free operations.
The T-shirt is available at DKNY stores priced £65.
As Donna Karen herself says, 'give back with an open heart and look chic.'
