Giles : Bringing sexy back

With the lingerie world's finest models showing his collection, Giles Deacon put sexy back on the catwalk for Autumn Winter 2010. The provocative shapes of Victoria Secret girls Karolina Kurkova, Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Alessandra Ambrosia, along with Carmen Kass and Jessica Stam, sashayed down the runway - all the better to show of the most womanly and wearably collection that Giles has produced in years.
With bouffant hair, healthy tans and stiletto pumps, Giles Deacon gave us a troupe of 50s Stepford Wives. Capri pants, hip-flared skirts and sheer corsets mixed sweet with slinky. Coffee, cream, yellow and peach colours were ultra-feminine and playful.
This season we've seen a definite shift on the catwalk from designers swapping young, other worldly models for those with out and out sex appeal. After Prada's collection in Milan last week, the female form has become "super" again. And now there's even clothes to fit it.
