Now that it's less than a month until Christmas (panic), it's officially time to start shopping in earnest. And, thankfully, some of our favourite stores have decided to make the whole experience easier - not to mention lighter on the bank balance.
Today the East End's coolest shopping destination, the Truman Brewery, launches its late night shopping Thursdays. From this evening until Christmas you'll be able to head down for a bit of post-work spending as all the stores in the area will stay open until 9 - and offer you a glass or two of mulled wine to help you on your way - and the reknowned market will be open for business too. And make sure you check out the pop-up shop of much-loved Parisian boutique, Colette.
If you're a vintage fan (and who isn't), then make sure you head to Rokit's Covent Garden store between 6 and 9pm tonight. You'll find stylists on hand - perfect if you need a bit of help picking out your perfect party dress - rockabilly band Ronnie King and the Hustlers playing a set, and you'll get a 15% discount on anything you snap up.
If designer dresses are more you're style then you'll be very exciting to hear that two of our favourite stores have sales starting today. Browns boutique are offering 20% off everything until Saturday. You can shop in store, or inf you want to take advantage of the discount online then simply shop for your items and send the product codes to customercare@brownsfashion.com. And Selfridges are also offering a 20% discount in store until Sunday - but only to their Facebook friends. Track them down and make friends fast!
Finally, this weekend the Shop at Bluebird on London's King's Road is being transformed into a Winter Wonderland. You'll be able to shop their impressive array of designer labels and vintage finds surrounded by musical entertainment, mulled wine (a running theme) and festive snacks.
Phew! And if all those discounts and mulled wine don't help you get your present shopping finished this weekend then don't worry, there's lots more coming up in the next few weeks - we'll be sure to keep you posted.
