Roland Mouret's range for Net-A-Porter launches today
By Emma Sells | Posted: Wed 02 Dec 2009
Roland Mouret has teamed up with Net-A-Porter to design an exclusive collection - and it goes online today.
The designer, famed for his now legendary Galaxy dress, has designed a range called 'Rainbow' under his RM by Roland Mouret label. The collection, which will only be available on Net-A-Porter, is made up of six mini-dresses and one mini-skirt, all in eye-popping colours. Just the pick-me-up we need on a grey day like today and frankly a breath of fresh air after the endless array of glitzy party dresses we've been trawling through.
The pieces have the unmistakable sophistication of Mouret's signature style. They take their cue from his Spring 2010 collection, but with a fun and flirty feel that will go down a treat with the young Hollywood set; we predict that Blake Lively will have stepped out in one of the offerings before the week is out. And, of course, their luxe silk appearance hides the figure-shaping foundations that made the Galaxy dress so popular - no need for Spanx here.
The Rainbow collection goes on sale today. Visit www.netaporter.com to snap it up.
