Ungaro president resigns

More storms at Emanuel Ungaro
After a year in which the Ungaro label was written about for all the wrong reasons, the troubled fashion house will have been hoping for a quiet end to the year. Unfortunately that was not to be.
Following widespread criticism of Lindsay Lohan's appointment as artistic advisor and her subsequent badly received collection in October, Emanuel Ungaro then waded in to the debate by calling the collection "a disaster" before severing all remaining ties with the company.
Now Mounir Moufarrige, Ungaro's president since 2006, and the man who brought Ms Lohan on board - has resigned.
Ungaro have already named Marie Fournier its new general manager who was previously vice president after having worked at Dior. Will she keep Lohan on the team?
Meanwhile, Lindsay has launched a website lohanhouse.com on which you can buy used clothes worn and now unwanted from Lindsay and her family. It also keeps you up to date on what she's up to. What is she doing now? "Lindsay Lohan is in New Delhi, India, trying to save children from hunger and human trafficking". If fashion design fails, there's always Miss World...
