The latest celebrity designer collaborations you need to know now

Hot on the heels of the news that Gwyneth Paltrow will be designing her own collection for a/w 09, here's the low down on more designer collaborations heading our way soon.
Sofia Coppola, film director, fashion fan and Marc Jacobs' sometime muse has collaborated with Louis Vuitton to create her own capsule collection of accessories.
The idea was first conceived when she visited the Louis Vuitton special order factory in Asnières, France. She went into the workshop to place an order and came out with her own collection. 'I had an idea of what I was looking for and couldn't find it. . . I think it must be every woman’s fantasy to dream up an ideal bag and shoe', says Coppola of the collection, some of which has already been snapped up by Kate Moss. The six pieces which include three styles of wedge sandals, two clutches and a tote bag are available exclusively in Louis Vuitton's Sloane Street store, London and online. Nicole Richie, who launched her own jewellery collection named House of Harlow 1960 (in honour of her daughter Harlow) last year, is now set to launch a maternity wear line. Her jewellery has been a sell-out success and so expanding into maternity fashion and accessories makes perfect sense. 'Shoes, belts, everything', she said of the new line, which will no doubt be inspired by her own style and needs now that she is pregnant with her second child.
Finally Lauren Bush is debuting her own fashion line Lauren Pierce. The eco-warrior, who's first foray in to fashion was the now ubiqutous FEED burlap shopper, has sourced completely sustainable fabrics for her collection including hemp, bamboo and organic cotton hand-dyed by women living in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Ten percent of the profits of those pieces will go to the non-profit organisation, Women for Women International.
She chose the name Lauren Pierce over the more recognisable Lauren Bush because 'It's my middle name and my brother's name and my grandmother's maiden name. The label is not about me per se, so this seemed right.' Bravo Lauren.
