A new designer joins Trussardi
Trussardi today announced the appointment of Umit Benan Sahin as its new creative director.

The Parsons-trained designer has worked with Marc Jacobs, Sophie Theallet and Rifat Ozbek. He has designed menswear under an eponymous label since 2009.
Sahin will show his first menswear collection for the label in Milan next week.
Trussardi produces seasonal menswear shows and womenswear presentations. The house has been without a creative director since March, when Milan Vukmirovic departed to pursue other projects, including retail enterprises and helming LOfficiel Hommes.
Trussardi is the latest European house to change its leadership. In April, Balmain named Olivier Rousteing as its replacement for Christophe Decarnin; last month, Pringle of Scotland followed suit by appointing ex-Balenciaga designer Alistair Carr to replace Clare Waight Keller.
But its the unanswered question thats the most compelling in this game of fashion musical chairs. Dior, were waiting...
