London, Milan clash over S/S '13 dates
In the midst of the Spring/Summer 12 season, international fashion week organisers are already tussling over dates for the S/S 13 shows.

The show-season start dates are governed by a 2008 agreement between New York, London, Milan and Paris to start showing the collections on the second Thursday in February and September.
WWD reported that adhering to this framework means that the S/S 13 shows wont start until 13 September 2013. This makes Milan organisers grumpy because it means that their shows wont start until the end of the month.
Mario Boselli, the head of the Italian Chamber of Fashion, said he doesnt want to see his shows squeezed between London and Paris, and that running too late in the month would leave proceedings too late for production.
Bosellis New York and London counterparts declare themselves satisfied with the arrangement and arent budging.
I hold confident it was not a three-year agreement and I would not be doing my job for American designers if we had negotiated short term, CFDA Chief Executive Steven Kolb told WWD.
Thats what we agreed to and thats what were moving forward with, and I know nothing else otherwise.
