It was reported this week in the Metro that 80% of British women don’t feel good enough.

The research revealed that the top pressures for women included trying to balance everything at once, being interesting, being intelligent and having the perfect body; and what's more, apparently most of that pressure comes from us ourselves.

It looks like far too many of us don’t feel great about ourselves, and we really need to do something to change that.

We know full well that curing anxiety is never going to happen over night, but in the mean time, here are some things to look forward to, or just generally make you feel ten times better:

Carbs are not the enemy

Forget the Paelo diet, apparently carbs make us smarter, so march over to that pasta dish fill up without any guilt this lunchtime.

A female President could be on the horizon

Whether you’re team Hillary Clinton or not, her running for president plays an important role in bringing women to the forefront of international influence, while gender equality is yet to become the norm in politics. The possibility of having woman in one of the most powerful positions is pretty awesome.

Tiny Fey and Amy Poeler film is going to be AMAZING

Okay, it isn’t out until next year, but ICYMI, the trailer is here and it’s on our list of favourites to look forward to.
