This summer JK Rowling revealed that she would be bringing Harry Potter back, but this time to the theatre as a play in the West End.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is set to hit the theatre next summer and is the eighth story in the Harry Potter series, set 19 years after the last film, with Harry Potter all grown up, married and with three kids. Oh yeah, and Harry's also an overworked employee at the Ministry of Magic. Tragic.

Sorry, Harry.

Talking about the upcoming production, JK Rowling said that 'the story only exists because the right group of people came together with a brilliant idea about how to present Harry Potter on stage. I am confident that when audiences see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child they will understand why we chose to tell this story in this way'.

The one thing we are curious to find out is who is going to play Harry? Elijah Wood looks a bit like an older Dan Rad, so perhaps ex Frodo could play Harry? Or maybe Bradley Cooper? No real resemblance, we just really like Bradley Cooper.
