Update October 22:

We’re not the only ones excited about Adele’s new album, Adele is ‘bloody excited' too, naturally. So much so, she finally succumbed to the ways of Instagram and posted her first ever Insta image with the caption: ‘25 out November 20th.’

On October 21 we wrote:

Adele published an emotional letter today apologising to fans for the delay in the release of her new album, titled 25. 'I'm sorry it took so long, but you know, life happened.'

In the letter, Adele describes her new album as a 'make-up record', an appropriate follow-up to her break-up album 21. She writes, 'I'm making up with myself. Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did.'

'Turning 25 was a turning point for me,' she added. 'I made the decision to go into becoming who I'm going to be forever without a removal van full of my old junk... 25 is about getting to know who I've become without realising.'

The album is due to be released on 20th November.
