When AMC series, Breaking Bad, came to a devastating finish in 2013, it seemed like there was nothing to pull us out of our post-series depression… Then, back in August of last year, our prayers were answered with the release of the first teaser trailer for Breaking Bad prequel, Better Call Saul. We can now reveal that it has a confirmed air date – and it’s much sooner than you think.

The series launches on Netflix at 7am on Monday 9 February; the second episode will follow the next day, and the rest of the series every Tuesday at 7am.

The series will focus on the rise of crooked criminal lawyer, Saul Goodman, and is supposed to precede the dramatic events of the Breaking Bad series (find out more about Better Caul Saul here). From the looks of the teaser trailer, we can expect tons of the dry humour that we came to love in Breaking Bad, and no shortage of tricky situations and colourful criminal characters.

Excited is an understatement - is it too early to be setting up camp in front of our laptop screens?
