The nominations for this year’s Brit Awards have been announced and amongst them, a handful of former ELLE cover stars; Lily Allen is up for ‘British Solo Female’, Pharrell for ‘International Male Solo’, and Rita Ora for ‘Best artist video of the year’.
Other exciting nominations come in the form of newcomer (and one of this year’s Victoria’s Secret performers), Hozier, nominated for ‘International Male Solo’. Breakout artist, FKA Twigs garnered nominations for ‘British Solo Female’ and ‘British Breakthrough Act’, and it’s not surprising to see why, considering the unanimous acclaim of her debut album, LP1.
The artist released her new self-directed music video yesterday, for single Pendulum, which sees her bound by her own hair and suspended mid-air. Watch it below:
