Can we get a hands up for Charlize Theron, who has taken a stand to ensure she gets paid the same as co-star Chris Hemsworth for her upcoming film The Huntsman? (A deal worth a reported $10 million, since you ask.)

The Huntsman is the prequel to the duo's 2012 box office hit Snow White and the Huntsman and is set to be released in 2016. Apparently, Theron took exception to being expected to reprise the role of evil queen Ravenna for less than Hemsworth's Eric.

'Charlize insisted that she get paid the same money as Chris,' a source revealed to Page Six.

'She has a great track record, so she got the same deal.'

Last year's headline-smashing Sony hack revealed that both Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams were paid less than male co-stars Bradley Cooper and Christian Bale for American Hustle. Here's hoping that this is evidence of Hollywood turning over a new leaf when it comes to equal pay.
