It's been a while since Tinder had a bit of buzz about it, what with Happen, Bumble and everything else under our 'Boyfriend Hunting' tab.

But in a bid to be more youth friendly David Cameron has been in talks with Tinder to engage young people in the forthcoming EU referendum and encourage them to vote. How will this work?

Reports out of Downing Street say this could work in an advertisement way to alert people to the referendum and give them an option to swipe left or right to Brexit.

Tinder has crossed into politics before with the US version hosting the campaign 'Swipe the Vote', whereby users could swipe left or right on the 'hottest issues' in the presidential election in a bid to get them to vote.

The date for the vote on whether we stay part of the EU or leave is dangerously close (23rd June), so whether this encourages you to start voting or start swiping you have to appreciate his millennial-targeting effort.

If it does come to fruition, we imagine it'll go something like this...

Relatively normal looking guy, likes dogs and cheese – swipe right.

Accidental hook-up that your friends won't ever let you live down - Left, left, always left.

Guy from uni you totally overlooked and is now shmokin' – RIGHT.
