There are many things to consider in matchmaking: Will their personalities mesh? Will they be attracted to each other? But Ellie Goulding—who admitted to The Sun, "I did play matchmaker, that's true," for rumored ex Calvin Harris and former single-life ambassador Taylor Swift—had a much simpler methodology.
"Calvin is a really great mate and he's so fantastic, and Taylor is such a cool person who I love," she explained. "I thought, 'They're both really awesome and both really tall. They'll be brilliant together.'"
She was right: Tall + awesome = handholding, Billboard Music Awards-smooching match made in heaven. Love really can be that simple. (Hey Ellie, can you set us up?)
