FKA Twigs has said that her relationship with Robert Pattinson is 'worth' the tabloid scrutiny and online abuse she receives.

The singer, who has been dating the Twilight actor since September 2014 (the pair reportedly got engaged in April), told the New York Times: 'It's worth it. I'm so happy. Nothing can […] make me choose not to say things a certain way or make an image the way I want.'

She did however admit: ‘It’s really hard — I can’t begin to explain how awful it is. It makes you want to just stop everything sometimes. It makes you want to smash your face into the mirror.

‘It’s relentless. There’s no amount of songs I can sing or dances I can dance that will prove to them I’m not a monkey.’

The singer, real name Tahliah Barnett, is adamant that her relationship with Pattinson, and the increased scrutiny it brings, will not affect her work.
We say, Robert is lucky to have her – and good for her for standing up to the cyber bullies. Online abuse is never OK.
