When it comes to the fashion industry, nothing lasts forever.

In recent times, brands as huge as Christian Dior, Saint Laurent and Lanvin have all parted ways with some of their most iconic creative directors.

Now, it's the turn of Francisco Costa - women's creative director - and Italo Zucchelli - men's creative director - to do the same at Calvin Klein, as the brand reveals today that both will be leaving their roles.

But why?

For Calvin Klein, it's a move towards unifying 'all Calvin Klein brands under one creative vision'.

Steve Shiffman, CEO, took the opportunity 'to thank Francisco and Italo for their unwavering commitment to the Calvin Klein brand and their accomplishments over the past decade' in a statement.

As for Calvin Klein's new head creative?

An announcement will be made 'in due course'.
