The things people do for love. George Clooney is the latest star to give up his LA lifestyle for a permanent base in the UK - the village of Sonning in Berkshire, near to Reading, to be exact.

While the location might not sound like the most glamorous, Clooney's excited about the move (which no doubt has a lot to do with British wife Amal's law work), confirming: 'We will move in in a couple of months.'
The couple are currently renovating their nine-bedroom house to add a 12-seater home cinema, swimming pool and entrance gates befitting Hollywood royalty.
But that's not to say they'll be cossetting themselves away.
'There's a great pub we go to,' Clooney admits in an interview to be aired on BBC1's Graham Norton Show tomorrow. 'It's fantastic and we drink all kinds of pints of things.'
