Today is International Women's Day. One of the most important days of the year, it gives us the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women around the world.

The clever doodlers at Google have joined in the festivities by putting their own creative spin on International Women’s Day. They've created a video entitled #OneDayIWill (check it out on the search homepage in the usual Doodle spot).

The video highlights the next generation of crusading women—the engineers, educators, leaders, movers and shakers of tomorrow, from 13 different cities around the world—by asking them to complete the sentence ‘One day I will...’. Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, who was shot by the Talbian for her campaigning for girls' education in Pakistan, and fellow activist Muzoon Almellehan are featured saying they hope: ‘One day we will see every girl in school.’

ELLE Editor-in-Chief, Lorraine Candy, was asked to contribute her One Day wish. Lorriane hopes: ‘One day I will be able to say my three daughters are paid the same wage for the same job as my son, I will be proud to see they are offered the same opportunities as men and that they live and work in a world where debates around gender equality are no longer needed.’

All women are encouraged to share their aspirations across social media using the #OneDayIWill hashtag, so join the conversation with your own personal wishes for women in the future.
