The ad for David Beckham's Haig Club Single Grain Scotch Whisky has been unveiled – and, like all of his H&M ads before it, this one also had Guy Richie in the director's chair.
Unlike his H&M ads, though – spoiler alert – Becks keeps his clothes on this time.
Ritchie flew up to the Scottish Highlands to shoot the short, which is entitled Welcome and features David and a group of friends spending a weekend together in Glen Affric, near Inverness, before rounding things off with a toast of whisky.
'I love the tradition of toasting, it's something I always do with friends and family,' says Becks of the concept. 'Working with Guy to bring this tradition to life in a new way has been so rewarding.
'Haig Club has always been about friends coming together and that's what we wanted to reflect with the advert. It’s as simple as that.'
Of course, ELLE was fortune enough to be invited up to Scotland to enjoy dinner with David personally for his Haig Club launch. We are happy to confirm that he does, indeed, give a mean toast.
