While the rest of us save up for a Peugeot, Khloe Kardashian has gone a step further getting her car, a Range Rover, customised and wrapped in black velvet.
She posted this photo on Instagram, writing ‘I feel like my car is rocking a Sean John sweatsuit'- a reference to Puff Diddy's fashion line, which championed velour loungewear in the early 2000s.
Khloe later posted a video diary explaining the extravagant decision- apparently the velvet customising is a ode to the sweet 16 present she never got.
In this video she reminisces about being a teen: ‘I see this car get flat-bedded into my driveway, and I call my mum screaming, ‘you bought me a car for my Sweet 16! And it wasn’t for me.’ Now that she has a car, she’s transformed it 'Pimp My Ride' style, with a velvet covering.
It's a bit much to drive to the shops in, though, maybe she should stick to the SS16 trend for velvet accesories rather than cars?
