New technique 'sandbagging' is all about ensuring that your lipstick doesn't bleed beyond the shape that you've set for it. Ditto your mascara.
So if your mascara refuses to stay on your lashes, or you find yourself avoiding a bright lip in fear of it ending up on your chin by midday, then sandbagging is your salvation.
