There was something reassuringly familiar about seeing Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner reunited on Tuesday night.

The pair met at K-Stew’s 'American Ultra' premiere (which basically counts as a 'Twilight' reunion, right?) and naturally, got us all wondering whether we’d ever see them return to their their roles as Bella and Jacob.

In an interview with 'Uproxx', Kristen said that she’d be ‘kind of fascinated’ in a 'Twilight' re-make, but sadly that doesn’t necessarily mean that she’d definitely want to do it again herself.

She said: ‘I was so genuinely, heavily entrenched in that, and not in a way that felt like an obligation. Even though after the first one, which stood alone, it lasted a long time. It’s hard to speak to a five-year period in a few sentences, but I loved doing it. But that doesn’t mean I want to keep doing it. But if other people? Yeah, sure.’

It seems that Kristen would rather watch from the side-lines if another 'Twilight' was to ever go ahead, but we can’t imagine that happening any time soon.

The last instalment of the 'Twilight' Saga was only three years ago, so it is a bit early to be talking about a reboot. But if they do eventually start talking about reuniting the vampires and werewolves, at least there won’t be any surprises when Kristen politely declines.
