Taylor Swift is one of Barbara Walters' most fascinating people of 2014, and in her interview for the upcoming special, she revealed some things about herself that are if not fascinating then at least mildly interesting. Barbara asked Taylor about her reputation for being pop's good girl, and though she did admit to drinking ("I am 25," she said, despite being 24 till her birthday this coming Saturday), she said she never did any underage imbibing. "I did wait until I was 21 to drink," she told Barbara. "I was so paranoid about getting in trouble or setting the wrong example or sending the wrong message." Which all leads us to believe, that this may be the only time Swifty has broken the rules, like ever.

Taylor also said that she doesn't feel as though being a role model has to hamper her ability to have fun. "It's kind of a nice thing to keep you in check to live a good life," she explained. "It's not like some gilded golden cage that people make it out to be. Living your life the 'right way' and trying to make 'good decisions' is not necessarily some horrible penalty." No, it's not, especially if it earns you best friends like Lorde, Lena Dunham, Selena Gomez, Karlie Kloss, Emma Stone, Jaime King, Sarah Hyland, and Lily Aldridge, just to name a few. Besides, you know that whenever Taylor parties too hard she has to face the judgmental stare of Olivia Benson, and no one in their right mind would willingly face that consequence.
