This morning high street giant River Island announced the launch of Colour with RI; a four-piece colour changing collection for the new season. Inspired by the blue/black/white/gold dress debacle of last month, thanks to technology featuring electronic fibres in the fabrics, you can now change the colour of the same dress with just the touch of a button on the dedicated app.

In an interview with Heat magazine, the PM admitted that he and Mrs. Kanye West are 13th cousins; according to genealogy website geni.com, the pair are linked by their mutual ancestor Sir William Spencer, born in 1555.

Virgin Trains launch new ‘fitness coaches’
Meanwhile, Richard Branson has today announced that Virgin Trains will replace traditional seats with exercise equipment, including bikes, cross trainers and treadmills, marking their first ever on-board gyms.

Aptly named ‘Fitness Coach’, one carriage on each train will be packed full of state-of-the-art gym equipment that’s been hand-picked with the help of fitness experts at Virgin Active.

The company have further broken new ground with the venture too, by harnessing the energy generated from each Fitness Coach and putting it back into the Grid, increasing Virgin Trains’ energy return to 30 per cent.

News of the company’s pioneering investment into the train network comes just a couple of years after Virgin Airlines introduced glass-floored planes to the skies.
 

Hunter to launch a range of dog boots
Hunter have today announced the launch of a new footwear collection for dogs, which will also be available in matching styles for their owners.

Developed with veterinary experts, the boots will be available in a range of colour palettes, including those from the classic ranges.

Speaking about the move into canine footwear, a spokesperson for the brand said: ‘Hunter has a history of boots for animals dating back to the late 1800s including waterproof poultice boots for horses. It was drawing on this part of our heritage that sparked the design for this new collection, as a natural evolution for the brand into this new product category.’

 
Browns to release a book of selfies
To celebrate Browns founder Joan Burstein’s prolific 40-year career in fashion, Browns will be exclusively releasing Mrs B’s Selfie Book due to hit stores this April.

In a statement released by Browns this morning, it read: ‘The search for creativity, innovation and originality that makes up the Browns spirit continues with this self-published selfie book of respected Browns founder Joan Burstein.’

Whilst no official date has yet been set for the soon-to-be iconic tome to hit shelves, a number of images ahead of its release have shown Mrs. B getting her selfie on with a selfie stick at her South Molton Street store.
