It's still going strong at 16.00 while the models get changed into matching outfits for some more shots. We're getting reports from Piccadilly Circus that the #TheLiveShoot instagram posts have been whitnessed. We're practically contorting with hope and excitement that some of team ELLE can get their 15 seconds of fame. Watch this space.
After clearing the canteen out of their (delicious) cookies and brownies, we're ready for another round of pictures. Our photographer Kal has been shooting pretty much non stop. On a non-live shoot we'd most likely have some downtime while the model gets made up for the next shot, but since we have guests we don't want to keep them waiting, so the girls are ready on rotation, which means Kal gets the odd 10 minute break, but otherwise he's on his feet making all the magic at all times.
The hair has withstood the crowding, the rushing, the intermittent sunshine and wind, and wind machine lets not forget. We will be sneaking some platinum stylers back tot he office to practice our ribbon curling technique ourselves (yes you can curl with 'straighteners'). The hairstation ghd team are getting ready to make team ELLE all ready for our saturday night plans. Er, I mean pack up and go home. It's been a long and brilliant day, but its not over yet!
