Once we'd tweaked the makeup on Romy we were back on track. The muted orange tone on the lids is perfectly fresh for summer and a really good way to make a smoky eye work for daytime. This is a 'wear to work' look that goes with all three hair styles too.

The super straight is of course synonymous with ghd, so a great one to test the platinum stylers on. Kenna blowdried the hair smooth first, then went over with the irons to get the flat finish. We couldn't decide how it worked best because every option we tried looked so good. Centre parted, choppy fringe - which is currently evolving into blunt straight bangs as we type - or just shaken out and draped over the shoulders. So we're shooting all of them!

The 10 ghd hairstylists at the hair station are being inundated with requests for various 'do's. We particularly love the creative knots and braids we keep spotting wandering round the studio. It's time to shoot Sharnee again. This time her bouncy waves are being shaken out - quite literally (she is bending over, then tossing her whole head back so they fan out naturally) - and Adam and Zoe are working together to get the hair perfect for the shot.

Check back at 16.00 for our final live shoot update.

The mani bar

Someone has brought their curly dog along for a restyle. He's more popular than the models. (We didn't really book him into the hair station. There were too many humans waiting their turn.)

What to do first? Nails? Polaroid booth? Brownie from the bar? Blowdry?
