Who said gig-going couldn't be stylish? Even in the depths of Brixton for a night of drum and bass, courtesy of Sigma, one can still aim for serious outfit game.

After a week of deciding where to head out and what to wear, ELLE accompanied TV presenter Laura Jackson on her Saturday night at Brixton Academy.

For Laura's outfit, ELLE's Harriet Stewart had picked out a dance-friendly denim jumpsuit to wear, finished with 'Happie Evie After' from Rimmel London's Super Gel range to add a pop of serious colour to the look.

All dressed up and ready to go, Laura's nails were prepped and glossy – perfect for a long night of bopping around.

There it is! But before we hit the Academy, we decided on a bit of fuel before the gig.

Dumplings and drinks at Mama Lan in Brixton Village. (We highly recommend the apple, elderflower and mint cocktail.)

Tickets out, the show's about to begin – it was time to take our spot in the audience.

A brilliant night of lasers and smoke machines. The final song, 'Nobody to Love', raised the roof – before a storm of confetti erupted from the ceiling.
