Another 1980s trend that is back on the fashion agenda is the cropped top – seen on the catwalk at such diverse designers as Alexander Wang and Yves Saint Laurent. Topshop have nailed the look with their loose, cropped tee, which has a relaxed silhouette and is a modern take on the retro trend. The look is not all about revealing your stomach – even if you do have washboard abs - so take inspiration from always chic Kate Bosworth and layer over a long vest. Pair with Cheap Monday’s super skinny light denim jeans and a straw fedora hat for a relaxed, summer look.
